Omolola Faleye is an entrepreneur, business development advocate, and founder of The Makeup Fair Series™ (TMUFS), Nigeria's pioneering beauty trade fair platform.
Her journey into the beauty industry was driven by a question.
In 2012, while growing a beauty business and applying for a Federal Government grant, she began researching how successful beauty brands around the world attract customers and grow their businesses. What she discovered was a significant gap: while beauty trade fairs and exhibitions played a critical role in connecting brands to customers globally, no dedicated platform existed for the beauty industry in Nigeria.
Rather than accepting the gap, she built the solution.
That discovery led to the creation of The Makeup Fair Series™, which has since grown into one of Africa's leading beauty trade fair platforms, serving hundreds of beauty brands across multiple cities and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, professionals and consumers throughout the industry.
Over the years, one lesson has remained constant:
